She consults with organizations in establishing successful processes and management training programs for hiring. Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is a major component of their programs, since research has shown that EQ is twice as important for success on the job as IQ or technical skills. Fox & Company helps organizations assure great hires and talent development at all levels. THE TOPICS OF THE EVENING ARE AS FOLLOWS: Emotional Intelligence, often referred to as EI or EQ, is a set of abilities we each have to recognize our behaviors, moods and impulses and manage them according to the situation or person we are dealing with. As with many skill sets, some people possess a more highly developed EQ, and some people are sorely lacking in this area. According to an article in Time magazine. "Emotional Intelligence may be the best predictor of success in life." This presentation summarizes the correlation between EQ, leadership effectiveness and business results.
