ISPI-OC PRESENTS: Virtual Training Sessions - The "New" Reality

Performance improvement professionals are facing a new reality.
It is not really new but it is now real!

Employees need a wider range of skills and knowledge to address the ever changing landscape of events they are facing in the workplace — and traveling to training sessions is not an option for most of them. Organizations still want to help their people to succeed by providing ways for them to access this important content, but the economic realities limit their ability to afford the ancillary costs associated with traditional learning systems and approaches.

Our speakers, Lisa and John, will share recent experiences in helping clients meet this challenge by using blended learning approaches that are delivered virtually.

After attending this presentation ISPI’s members and friends will be able to:
  • Identify situations where virtual training solutions can be used effectively (and some where it should be avoided)
  • Discuss options for using a variety of virtual synchronous and asynchronous components to develop required skills and knowledge with their audiences
  • Describe situations they face where they might consider using the approaches described
  • Establish connections with others who might be useful when they are considering trying virtual approaches, thus expanding their personal problem solving networks.
